Dog Sledding in Our Back Yard
AAH! There's nothing like a clear, cold day and freshly groomed
trails! to get out and play on. Check out our video!
Sorry for the poor quality!
Saco and Arethusa ganged up against me and wouldn't stop jumping up and
down and howling. They were begging me to take them out to the trail. I think
they saw the trail groomer go by just a few minutes earlier.
WELCOME TO VICTORS CHINOOKS!
Blue Job State Forest
Victors Chinooks:
There was a fresh 3" coating of powdery snow last night which was
perfect for our plans to go snowshoeing with the dogs. We headed out
early with Saco and Arethusa. We wanted to be the first ones there to
make fresh tracks on the trail.
Good News! No one in the parking lot! We Geared up and started
down the trail to only see that we were beat by a local resident
Snowshoe Hare who had left his marks. We hiked to the top and enjoyed
the snowy scenes along the way. This was a great local hike and we would
recommend it to anyone who wants to get out with their dog this winter.
Take a look at some of our photos!
Mount Major @ Night
Victors Chinooks
Tis the season for getting colder and darker earlier and earlier. I
think it awakens the Chinook because the colder it gets the harder it is
to get them to settle down. Here are some photos of a night hike to
Mount Major.
We had to because the dogs wouldn't leave us alone!
Mount Major Victors Chinooks Today Hiked Mount Major in Alton New Hampshire. We started at the parking lot early in the morning when the temperature was about 50 degrees. When we reached the top the temperature had risen to 68 degrees.
Swift River Swim
This was a great day to hang out in Tamworth and let the dogs play in
the Icy Cold Swift River.
